What we collect

Better Card Source collects limited, anonymized data to understand how the site is used:

• ▸Search queries — when you search for a card or precon, the search term and timestamp are logged. Your IP address is never stored; instead we compute a one-way hash that changes every 24 hours, making it impossible to link searches across sessions or days.
• ▸Buy button clicks — when you click a marketplace button (TCGPlayer, Mana Pool, eBay, Amazon), the marketplace and precon name are logged alongside the same rotating anonymous hash.
• ▸Reports — if you submit a report using the flag button, we store the issue type and any note you include. No account or personal information is required.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information. We do not use advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

Cookies

Better Card Source does not set cookies for site visitors.

When you follow a buy button to an external marketplace, that site may set its own cookies. Their respective privacy policies govern that data.

Third-party links

This site links to TCGPlayer, Mana Pool, eBay, and Amazon for purchasing MTG products. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Affiliate disclosure

Better Card Source participates in affiliate programs. When you purchase through a link on this site, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence which products we show or how prices are displayed — all data is pulled directly from marketplace APIs.

Your data

Since we do not store any personally identifiable information, there is no personal data tied to you to request or delete.
